€20 per year. One member, one vote. Co-ownership requires more personal information than a normal account — the cooperative's bylaws make every member a named legal party.
What co-ownership actually is
GROUNDWORK is a member cooperative, not a company. Pay one annual due and you are a co-owner for life — one member, one vote on every board proposal, with your contribution tracked on the public ledger. The €20/year keeps the operational side of your membership active: access to the co-owner dashboard, ledger editing, internal tooling. If you stop renewing, you keep your vote and your accumulated stake forever; only the live panels go quiet until you come back. We keep the price low on purpose so legitimacy comes from many small members, not a few large ones.
- Lifetime membership from your first paid year — one member, one vote, regardless of whether your current annual due is paid.
- Your accumulated contribution stays on the public ledger forever. If the cooperative ever returns a surplus, your share is proportional to what you have paid in total.
- Active dues unlock the live co-owner dashboard and ledger tools; lapsing only restricts those panels, not your governance rights.
- Leaving formally is a soft withdrawal — your name comes off the active roster, but the contribution stays on the public record so the books always balance.
